1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Kuba Michałowski. For privacy enquiries, you can email me at:
2. Contact and form
When you send a message, I process your name, email address and correspondence. I use this information to reply, discuss your project and prepare a quote. The form also sends your selected website language.
Providing data is voluntary, but the form requires a name, email address and message. I do not use this information to send newsletters or sell personal data.
Processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Website operation and security
The website runs on Vercel and uses Cloudflare. Resend delivers contact form messages to my email inbox. These service providers process information needed to operate their services; processing may also take place outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA.
Using the website involves technical data such as IP addresses, request times and browser information. This supports website delivery, error detection and protection against spam and abuse, based on my legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Analytics
I use Rybbit to understand website traffic and improve the site. Analytics works without cookies. It includes visited pages, device information and interactions.
5. Language and comments
When you change the language, I store your preference in a cookie named language for up to 365 days. You can delete it in your browser settings.
Comments use Giscus, powered by GitHub Discussions. Loading comments connects your browser to that service. Posted comments and public GitHub profile information are visible to other users.
6. Data retention
I keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and longer only for legal obligations or legal claims. I keep analytics data for the time needed to assess the website and investigate problems. Once the data is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Public comments remain in GitHub Discussions until removed by their author or through moderation.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it. For these requests, email [email protected].
You can also lodge a complaint with Poland’s Personal Data Protection Office. I do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
